Imagine losing your job, your home, and pretty much everything you worked so hard for all because of a wild fire that consumed your entire city! This happened to the city of Fort McMurray (About 5 hours from where I live) last week and I am still praying for them to this day.. donating as much as I possibly could. I know I can't offer much but I still try cause I know how devastating it feels. Back in the Philippines our house caught fire and we lost pretty much everything except for our passports and our clothes. Fortunately our Canadian visas arrived shortly after that incident. We came to Canada with literally nothing but our clothes. It's been almost a week and the fire is still going. But the weather suddenly became colder slowing the growth of the fire and I think our prayers are getting answered! I still pray for the heaviest rain to completely end this catastrophe.
